Madonna di Campiglio, a discreet and elegant town set at 1550 meters above sea level in the beautiful valley between the Brenta Dolomites group and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers, today it is certainly the number one among the Italian ski resorts and one of the most important of the entire Alpine Arc.
The variety of its mountain environment ensures in winter the possibility of traveling countless kilometers of slopes up to an altitude of 2600 meters. You can comfortably start from the center of the village and return with your skis on.
Today the Ski Area boasts 57 ski lifts and runs along 150 km of slopes with a capacity of over 31,000 people per hour, 50,000 square meters of snow park, 40 km for Nordic skiing and connection, skis with feet, with Pinzolo and Folgarida - Marilleva.
Madonna di Campiglio is famous for its worldliness but if you takes just a few steps outside the town, you can immerse yourself in a roundabout of lakes, valleys, streams, pastures and shelters.
It is surrounded to the east by the Brenta Dolomites (a World Heritage Site), to the west by the glistening glaciers of Adamello and Presanella, and all around by the magnificent Adamello Brenta Natural Park. For those who love walking or cycling, Madonna di Campiglio turns into a paradise in summer. The park boasts 450km of mountain trails of varying difficulty to be covered on foot or by mountain bike.
